Tactical Inhibit Enable (Radio Wide, User Information and Passwords)

	Tactical Inhibit Stun Operation and/or Tactical Inhibit Kill Operation must also be CPS-defined on a per Conventional Personality basis.
	The radio-user can then access these features with the Stun and/or Kill menu-selections.

When the Secure Operation field is set to "Hardware" and Tactical Inhibit Enable is not available or is "Disabled", the Unlock / Un-stun password is stored in the radio's hardware encryption module (In this case the password must be initially created and modified via the radio's Password menu-selection).

Pre-loaded Secure Encryption Keys can be ERASED from the Radio . . .

When performing a FLASHport upgrade which adds the Tactical Inhibit feature.

when the Secure Operation field is set to "Hardware" and Tactical Inhibit Enable is "Disabled"...

and Writing to a radio to disable the Radio Lock feature.

when the Secure Operation field is set to "Hardware" and Tactical Inhibit Enable is "Disabled"...

and Writing to a radio to enable the Tactical Inhibit feature, and change the Unlock / Un-stun Password.

To Avoid Losing Pre-loaded Keys . . .

Prior to performing any of the above radio-programming procedures, you must first reset the radio's Secure "Hardware" Radio Lock password to the default password “01234567” through the Password menu-selection. If secure keys are lost they must be reloaded the via a Key-Variable Loader (KVL) or through Over-The-Air-Rekeying (OTAR).
